Google is currently testing a new "Device help" feature for its Pixel 11 smartphone series. This tool is powered by Gemini AI, allowing users to engage in conversations to troubleshoot issues and receive operational guidance.

The "Device help" feature is located within the Gemini section of the Google app and is marked with a "Labs" label, indicating its experimental status. The feature can answer user questions about their device, adjust phone settings, aid in troubleshooting, and explain various functions available on Pixel phones.

For troubleshooting, the tool can assist with problems related to network connectivity, battery life, audio, and application performance. Users can also ask Gemini to free up storage space, review storage usage, manage app permissions and notifications, and set app usage time limits.

Additionally, the feature provides step-by-step instructions for specific device functionalities, including how to use gestures, camera features, and privacy settings. This capability is currently available in a beta version of the Google app, with wider availability yet to be announced.
