Google is addressing two high-priority P0-level bugs discovered in the Android version of its Chrome 150 browser. The issues, first reported by media outlets, impact file downloads and video playback functionality.

P0 bugs are classified as the highest severity, typically indicating problems that block a release or require immediate attention due to widespread impact on core features.

One reported problem concerns downloaded files vanishing after the download is completed. Daily feedback on missing files has reportedly increased from the usual 10-15 instances to approximately 20-25 since the stable release of Chrome 150 on July 4. The file reappears if the user attempts to download it again and selects 'Open'.

The second issue affects video playback on websites using specific CSS containment techniques. While videos load and display, playback controls such as play, pause, seek, fullscreen, and volume may not respond to clicks. Google has indicated that this bug also affects other Chromium-based browsers and applications on Android, including Microsoft Edge, Brave, and Android WebView.
