GoTo Shareholders Approve Cancellation of 2.7% of Shares
Indonesian tech giant GoTo announced that shareholders approved the cancellation of 32 billion treasury shares, representing 2.7% of its outstanding stock, at an extraordinary general meeting.

GoTo, Indonesia's largest tech group, confirmed that shareholders approved all agenda items at an extraordinary general meeting held in Jakarta on October 14.
The key approvals included the cancellation of 32 billion treasury shares, which constitute 2.7% of the company's total outstanding stock. GoTo had previously stated its intention to pursue this cancellation to enhance shareholder value.
Alongside the share cancellation, the resignation of vice president director Catherine Hindra Sutjahyo was also approved and took effect at the close of the meeting. Hans Patuwo remains GoTo group CEO, with Agus Martowardojo continuing as president commissioner.
The approvals come at a time when GoTo has demonstrated improved financial performance, reporting its first-ever net profit in the first quarter of 2026 and maintaining profitability in the second quarter.
