The German Association for Orthopedic Traumatological Sports Medicine (GOTS) has publicized a lineup of upcoming training events and conferences scheduled for 2026. These events are aimed at professionals in sports medicine, orthopedics, and sports injury prevention.

The 2026 schedule includes several key gatherings. The "Next Generation Sport Orthopädie" event is set for March 7-8, 2026, in Erlangen, focusing on the latest advancements in sports orthopedics. This will be followed by the "9. Hanse Sport, Orthopädie Tage" in Rostock from April 23-25, 2026, offering in-depth insights into the diagnosis and treatment of sports injuries.

The association is also organizing a joint event with the AGA (Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Arthroskopie) for residents from February 27 to March 1, 2026. Furthermore, the GOTS Winter Sports Symposium 2026 took place from January 9-11, 2026, in Stams and Seefeld, Tyrol, Austria. This three-day event featured lectures on topics relevant to high-level winter sports, including injury prevention, training management, and treatment of sports-related ailments.

The winter symposium also included comprehensive sessions on shoulder anatomy, clinical examination, and common pathologies. Participants engaged in practical activities such as shoulder arthroscopy simulations and received demonstrations on the application of orthoses and bandages.
