GOTS Announces Three Sports Orthopedics Events for 2026
Gesellschaft für Orthopädisch-Traumatologische Sportmedizin (GOTS) has announced upcoming events for 2026 focusing on sports medicine and orthopedics. These gatherings are set to convene professionals in Erlangen, Rostock, and Tyrol.

Gesellschaft für Orthopädisch-Traumatologische Sportmedizin (GOTS) has scheduled multiple conferences and symposia for 2026, focusing on advancements and practical applications in sports medicine and orthopedics.
The year began with the GOTS Winter Sports Symposium held from January 9-11, 2026, in Stams and Seefeld, Tyrol, Austria. This event featured presentations on the care of elite winter athletes, injury prevention, and training management for young athletes. The program also included practical workshops addressing sports injuries and overexertion, alongside athletic training sessions.
Further solidifying its commitment to professional development, GOTS will collaborate with AGA Residents for an event from February 27 to March 1, 2026, at Medizinpark Valley. This joint initiative aims to cover athlete and competition support through educational sessions, workshops, and discussions.
Looking ahead to spring 2026, two significant events are planned. The 9th Hanse Sport Orthopädie Tage will take place in Rostock from April 23-25. Prior to this, the 'Next Generation Sport Orthopädie' conference is scheduled for March 7-8 in Erlangen, specifically targeting emerging professionals in the field.
These events underscore GOTS's role in advancing sports medicine and orthopedics by providing platforms for knowledge exchange, skill development, and networking among specialists.
