GOTS to Hold Press Conference Ahead of Sports Medicine Congress

The Gesellschaft für Orthopädisch-Traumatologische Sportmedizin (GOTS) has announced a press conference to be held in Munich on Thursday, June 19, 2008. The conference precedes the organization's annual congress, which begins the following day.
Topics at the press conference will include the agenda for the 2008 GOTS Congress and the sports medical preparations for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. The organization will also announce the "Sports Doctor of the Year 2008" award recipient, subject to an embargo until June 20, 2008.
Speakers will include GOTS Congress President Stefan Nehrer, who will discuss regenerative medicine, and GOTS President Dieter Kohn, focusing on talent promotion within the organization. PD Dr. Martin Engelhardt will present on the sports medical care for the German Olympic team.
The 23rd annual GOTS Congress will take place from June 20-23, 2008, at Klinikum Großhadern in Munich. The GOTS society is dedicated to the field of orthopedic and traumatological sports medicine.
