Gradientech Speeds Up Susceptibility Testing With New Panel
Diagnostics company Gradientech has launched a new IVDR CE-marked susceptibility testing panel, QuickMIC® GN02. The panel identifies antibiotic susceptibility in Gram-negative pathogens in just over three hours.

Diagnostics company Gradientech has introduced its new Ultra-Rapid Antibiotic Susceptibility Testing (AST) solution, QuickMIC® GN02. The IVDR CE-marked panel enables the determination of antibiotic susceptibility for challenging Gram-negative pathogens in just three hours and 14 minutes.
Rapid AST is critical for treatment decisions, particularly when a patient's condition requires immediate action. The new panel expands the QuickMIC® system's capabilities by adding susceptibility testing for cefiderocol and other important reserve antibiotics.
Gradientech's solution, developed to support clinicians' decision-making, delivers faster and more reliable results for multidrug-resistant Gram-negative bacteria. This can lead to more effective treatment and improved patient outcomes.
The company emphasizes that clinical and analytical performance data confirm the panel's efficiency and accuracy in identifying challenging bacterial strains.
