Gradientech to Present QuickMIC System at ESCMID Global 2024
Gradientech will attend ESCMID Global 2024 in Barcelona to showcase its QuickMIC system's clinical performance and new results on antibiotic resistance prediction.

Gradientech announced its participation in the ESCMID Global 2024 congress, held in Barcelona, Spain, from April 27-30, 2024. The company will present its rapid diagnostic solution, the QuickMIC system.
The congress, organized by the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID), is a key event in the field of infectious diseases and microbiology, attracting over 16,000 professionals. Gradientech's presence will include two scientific abstracts, one of which is an oral presentation. These presentations will focus on clinical data from QuickMIC® studies in both low and high resistance settings, alongside new findings on early resistance prediction using machine learning algorithms.
Furthermore, four additional abstracts contributed by external clinical sites will present performance data for the QuickMIC system. Attendees are invited to visit Gradientech's booth, D28, to see the QuickMIC system demonstrated.
Gradientech specializes in developing rapid microbiological diagnostic solutions. The QuickMIC system aims to improve and accelerate the identification of bacteria and their antibiotic susceptibility, contributing to more efficient patient treatment, particularly in critical cases such as sepsis.
