Gradientech's QuickMIC® Abstracts Reach Record High at ECCMID 2024
Gradientech announced that six abstracts concerning its QuickMIC® system will be presented at the ECCMID 2024 congress in Barcelona. The presentations are based on independent European studies.

Swedish technology company Gradientech announced in February 2024 that a record number of six abstracts related to its QuickMIC® system will be presented at the 34th European Congress of Clinical Microbiology & Infectious Diseases (ECCMID) in Barcelona, held from April 27-30, 2024.
ECCMID is one of the largest global events for clinical microbiologists and infectious disease specialists, attracting over 14,000 delegates annually. The studies to be presented at the congress originate from independent European laboratories that have analyzed bacterial resistance situations across different regions of Europe.
The abstracts demonstrate that the QuickMIC® system yields accurate results comparable to current state-of-the-art antibiotic susceptibility testing (AST) solutions available on the market. Gradientech states that the substantial number of studies and their robust findings reinforce QuickMIC®'s position as a rapid AST system.
Gradientech focuses on developing rapid diagnostic solutions within medical microbiology. The QuickMIC® system aims to significantly expedite the diagnosis and treatment of bacterial infections by providing results within hours, as opposed to traditional methods that can take days.
