Graid Technology Finalizes Intel VROC Licensing Agreement

Graid Technology has finalized a licensing agreement with Intel for the company's Virtual RAID on CPU (VROC) technology. This agreement permits Graid to develop and market an evolution of VROC under its own brand, now known as VROC™ by Graid Technology.

The updated VROC™ by Graid Technology is slated to support Intel's upcoming Xeon 6 processors and is scheduled for availability in the third quarter of 2026. Graid Technology highlighted that existing VROC customers will receive no-cost upgrades and has released a 24-month product roadmap.

This technology connects NVMe SSDs directly to the CPU, creating a CPU-native RAID solution. The aim is to bypass potential bottlenecks of traditional RAID controllers and enhance performance, particularly for demanding workloads in AI, HPC, and enterprise environments.

Graid Technology has also been active in developing its own storage solutions, notably its SupremeRAID™ line. Recently, the company received a Special Prize in the Server & Storage category at the Interop Tokyo 2026 Best of Show Awards for its SupremeRAID™ HE product.
