Graid Technology has announced the upcoming release of VROC™ by Graid Technology, an evolution of Intel's VROC technology. The product is slated for availability in Q3 2026.

Graid Technology has officially announced VROC™ by Graid Technology, a new iteration of Intel's VROC technology for NVMe RAID storage. The company has secured a licensing agreement with Intel, ensuring the continuation and development of the product. VROC™ by Graid Technology is set to become available in the third quarter of 2026.
The updated solution will support Intel Xeon 6 processors and comes with a defined 24-month development roadmap. Graid Technology has stated that existing customers will be offered no-cost upgrades to the new VROC™ version. This move aims to provide a stable and future-proof platform for NVMe storage management.
VROC™ by Graid Technology will be distributed through OEM partners and channel resellers. The technology focuses on CPU-native NVMe RAID, enabling direct utilization of processor resources for storage operations, differentiating it from traditional hardware RAID controllers.
The company positions the product as a solution for demanding workloads, including AI and HPC applications, seeking to enhance storage performance and efficiency by removing potential bottlenecks within data centers.
