Graid Technology Licenses Intel VROC, Announces Roadmap
Graid Technology has acquired a license for Intel's VROC technology and plans to further develop it. The new VROC by Graid solution is slated for release in Q3 2026.

Graid Technology has secured a licensing agreement for Intel's VROC technology, signaling a strategic move to enhance its storage solutions portfolio. The company announced on June 1, 2026, that it will now develop and market the technology under the name VROC™ by Graid Technology.
The new VROC by Graid solution is designed to support upcoming Intel® Xeon® 6 processors, catering to the evolving needs of enterprise data centers. Graid Technology has unveiled a 24-month development roadmap for the product, with availability expected in the third quarter of 2026. The company stated that existing customers will receive complimentary upgrades as part of the transition.
This acquisition positions Graid Technology to better serve markets requiring high-performance data aggregation. The agreement includes provisions for continued collaboration with Intel, suggesting a focus on long-term advancements in storage controller technology.
Separately, Graid Technology's SupremeRAID™ HE received a Special Prize in the Server & Storage category at the Interop Tokyo 2026 Best of Show Awards on June 12, 2026. This award highlights the company's ongoing efforts in delivering resilient and high-performance storage for demanding workloads like AI and HPC.
