Graid Technology announced it has finalized a licensing agreement for Intel's Virtual RAID on CPU (VROC) technology. The company intends to release its own actively developed version, VROC™ by Graid Technology, in the third quarter of 2026.
The new VROC version is designed to support Intel's upcoming Xeon 6 processors and features a 24-month development roadmap. Graid Technology is offering no-cost upgrades for existing customers, signaling an effort to strengthen its position in the storage solutions market.
The company has previously gained recognition for its SupremeRAID™ product, which received a Special Prize in the Server & Storage category at the Interop Tokyo 2026 Best of Show Awards. The SupremeRAID™ technology is geared towards accelerating workloads related to artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC).
Graid Technology is concentrating on enhancing the performance of NVMe SSD-based storage solutions. The company's recent white paper also highlights the performance benefits of its SupremeRAID™ KV Cache for Rack solution, which significantly increases throughput for large language models.
