Graid Technology Licenses Intel VROC Technology

Graid Technology has secured a licensing agreement to develop Intel's Virtual RAID on Chip (VROC) technology. The company announced in June 2026 that its own VROC™ by Graid product is scheduled for release in the third quarter of 2026.

The new product version will support Intel® Xeon® 6 processors and is under active development. Graid Technology stated that existing customers will receive no-cost upgrades. The distribution channels include both OEM manufacturers and channel partners.

Through this agreement, Graid Technology will continue the evolution of Intel's VROC technology, aiming to enhance performance and data protection for server and enterprise workloads. Graid Technology also received a Special Prize in the Server & Storage category at Interop Tokyo 2026 for its SupremeRAID™ HE product.
