Graid Technology to Continue Intel VROC Technology
Graid Technology has taken over the development of Intel's VROC technology and will relaunch it as VROC™ by Graid Technology. The product is scheduled for availability in Q3 2026.
Graid Technology has announced the VROC™ by Graid Technology product, an actively developed evolution of Intel's previous VROC technology. The company has finalized a licensing agreement with Intel, enabling continued development and support for the technology.
The new VROC™ by Graid Technology is designed to support Intel's upcoming Xeon 6 processors. Graid Technology has stated it will offer a 24-month development roadmap and free upgrades for existing customers. The product is expected to be available in the third quarter of 2026 through OEM and channel partners.
Separately, the company's SupremeRAID™ HE technology received a Special Prize in the Server & Storage category at the Interop Tokyo 2026 Best of Show Award. This award highlights Graid's focus on high-performance storage solutions.
Graid Technology focuses on providing CPU-native NVMe RAID solutions for Intel Xeon platforms. The company aims to eliminate performance bottlenecks and accelerate data processing, particularly for AI, HPC, and enterprise workloads.
