GRAIL Investors Have Opportunity to Lead Securities Class Action Lawsuit

Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP announced that purchasers of GRAIL, Inc. (NASDAQ: GRAL) common stock between May 13, 2025, and February 19, 2026, have until August 4, 2026, to seek appointment as lead plaintiff in a class action lawsuit.

The lawsuit alleges that GRAIL and certain of its current and former executive officers violated the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. The complaint claims that defendants misled investors about the reliability of data concerning the primary endpoint of the NHS-Galleri trial, which aimed to show a reduction in late-stage cancers. Specifically, it is alleged that the company concealed material adverse facts that diminished the likelihood of achieving this outcome.

According to the lawsuit, GRAIL's management expressed unwarranted optimism about the trial's primary endpoint, despite potential negative trends in unreleased data. The optimism was reportedly based on initial positive results from trial screenings and Pathfinder studies but allegedly ignored information that suggested a longer follow-up period than initially anticipated would be necessary.

On February 19, 2026, GRAIL announced that the NHS-Galleri Trial did not meet its primary endpoint of a statistically significant reduction in Stage III-IV cancers. The company cited the need for a longer follow-up time as a contributing factor. Following this announcement, GRAIL's stock price reportedly fell by more than 50%.

Investors who suffered substantial losses are encouraged to come forward to be considered for the lead plaintiff role. This role involves directing the litigation on behalf of the class and selecting legal counsel. Participation as lead plaintiff is not required to share in any potential recovery.
