The Grand Bargain Project, coordinated by the Center for Collaborative Democracy (CCD), has introduced a proposal aimed at changing the operational procedures within the U.S. Congress, particularly the House of Representatives. Sol Erdman, CEO of CCD, met with members of the House Problem-Solvers Caucus and leaders from non-profit organizations to share the plan.

The initiative invites all lawmakers who seek to improve their institutions' functionality to participate. A key presentation of the proposal is scheduled for a press event near Capitol Hill on Monday, July 20. Erdman has extended an invitation to all House members and senators.

Erdman stated the objective is to make Congress an institution capable of meeting the aspirations of American citizens. He emphasized that the proposed change could help in healing the nation's divisions. "Our goal is to scale progress for constituents and heal our divided country," Erdman said.

The Center for Collaborative Democracy is a non-profit, non-partisan organization. Erdman is available for media and lawmaker inquiries until the press event on Monday.
