Gray Begins Construction on InnovAsian's First U.S. Chicken Processing Facility

Construction and engineering firm Gray has begun work on a new chicken processing facility for InnovAsian in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The facility is InnovAsian's first in the United States and is owned by Japan-based Nichirei Corporation, a major food company.

The project aims to expand InnovAsian's production capacity within the U.S. market to meet growing consumer demand. The new plant will focus on manufacturing and packaging InnovAsian's prepared food products, utilizing modern food processing techniques.

The construction is expected to create a significant number of jobs in the Jonesboro area. Gray, a national construction and engineering firm, has a history of undertaking large-scale projects within the food processing industry.

Nichirei Corporation views this investment as a strategic move to support its global expansion. The facility is anticipated to commence operations in 2027, enhancing InnovAsian's logistics and supply chain capabilities in North America.
