Great American Media Announces Fourth Installment of "Ainsley McGregor Mysteries"
Great American Media has announced the fourth installment of its "Ainsley McGregor Mysteries" franchise, titled "The Model Maker." The new film, starring Candace Cameron Bure, is set to premiere in early 2027.

NEW YORK – Great American Media announced in July 2026 the upcoming release of "Ainsley McGregor Mysteries: The Model Maker," the fourth installment in its ongoing mystery series. The film is slated for a broadcast and streaming debut across Great American Pure Flix, Great American Family, and GFAM+ in early 2027.
The new chapter continues the franchise's narrative in Sweet River, following amateur sleuth Ainsley McGregor, portrayed by Candace Cameron Bure. Alongside Bure, Aaron Ashmore returns as Fire Chief Jake Trenton, and Robin Dunne reprises his role as Sheriff Ryan McGregor. The stories are inspired by characters created by bestselling novelist Candace Havens.
In "The Model Maker," criminology professor Ainsley McGregor is preparing for a university exhibition honoring forensic scientist Frances Glessner Lee and her miniature crime-scene dioramas. However, a murder in Sweet River draws her into an investigation where meticulously crafted models might hold the key to the truth. The evidence appears to point closer to home than anticipated.
Great American Media CEO Bill Abbott highlighted the importance of such franchises in building viewer loyalty and creating shared experiences. Star and Executive Producer Candace Cameron Bure described the film as one of the most compelling and personal mysteries in the series, promising the suspense fans expect while exploring themes of belonging and connection.
