Great Wall Launches 1050W GaN Power Supply Unit with 10-Year Warranty
Chinese tech news outlet IT Home reports the launch of Great Wall's KING 1050W fully modular GaN power supply unit. The product comes with a 10-year warranty and is priced at 1799 yuan.
Chinese technology publication IT Home has reported the release of Great Wall's new KING 1050W fully modular GaN power supply unit. The device is now available on JD.com for 1799 yuan (approximately $250 USD) and includes a 10-year warranty.
The power supply unit boasts 80 PLUS Titanium certification for high energy efficiency and meets ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 specifications. It features a native 12V-2x6 connector and a 600W 16-pin cable, utilizing tinned copper for its wiring to ensure corrosion and oxidation resistance.
The KING 1050W incorporates a dual communication system using both USB and PMBus. The USB port allows users to connect to a Windows PC for real-time monitoring of voltage, current, power, and temperature, as well as for customizing fan speed. The PMBus interface is designed for compatibility with server environments.
It is equipped with a 140mm fan that supports intelligent start-stop functionality to optimize cooling and power consumption. A dedicated self-test button on the rear allows users to check the power supply's operational status independently of the motherboard, with indicator lights signaling normal operation, faults, or warnings.
