Great Wall Motor to unveil second-generation Wey Lanshan on October 27
Great Wall Motor is set to debut the second generation of its Wey Lanshan SUV on October 27, featuring a new design and the Hi-4 plug-in hybrid system.

Great Wall Motor has confirmed the global launch of the second-generation Wey Lanshan on October 27. The updated SUV shifts to a more angular, boxy design aesthetic, departing from the previous model’s profile.
At the core of the new vehicle is the Hi-4 plug-in hybrid system, which pairs a 2.0-liter engine with a dedicated four-speed hybrid transmission. Power is generated by a 110 kW front motor and a 220 kW rear motor, supported by a 66.6 kWh battery pack. These specifications have been verified through recent filings with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
The vehicle measures 5300 mm in length, 2050 mm in width, and 1960 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3010 mm. Exterior features include a vertical chrome grille, circular headlights, and a side-hinged tailgate, signaling an attempt to capture a distinct segment of the competitive Chinese SUV market.
