Gree Electric Appliances and Geely Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement
Leaders from Gree Electric Appliances and Geely Holding Group met to sign a strategic cooperation framework agreement. The partnership spans areas including intelligent manufacturing and digital ecosystems.

Gree Electric Appliances, a prominent Chinese home appliance manufacturer, and Geely Holding Group, an automotive giant, have formalized a strategic cooperation agreement. The signing ceremony took place on July 3rd, following a visit by Gree Electric Appliances' Chairwoman Dong Mingzhu and her executive team to Geely's Global Full-Domain Safety Center in Zhejiang. Geely Chairman Li Shufu led the reception.
The collaboration will focus on key areas such as the development of automotive safety systems, intelligent manufacturing synergies, and the construction of digital ecosystems. This partnership aims to leverage Gree Electric Appliances' strengths in HVAC technology and intelligent manufacturing alongside Geely's expertise in smart electric mobility and services.
The agreement covers a broad spectrum of initiatives, including joint research and development of intelligent in-vehicle hardware, integration within smart manufacturing supply chains, logistics and warehousing solutions, industrial internet applications, user ecosystem development, and smart transportation and home appliance integration. The goal is to create a mutually beneficial future development pattern.
During the visit, Dong Mingzhu toured Geely's safety facilities, including crash test laboratories, and observed a vehicle collision test. This meeting follows an earlier visit by Li Shufu to Gree Electric Appliances in April, during which Dong Mingzhu was appointed "Zeekr Quality Experience Officer" for the Zeekr 009 model, highlighting ongoing engagement in product experience and technological innovation.
