Green Security Launches Smart Badge Platform for Vendor Compliance

Green Security has launched its Smart Badge ecosystem, an intelligent credentialing solution aimed at simplifying vendor access and enhancing compliance visibility within healthcare facilities.

The platform integrates smart badge hardware, gateway technology, and Compliance Hub software. Its primary functions include automating vendor check-ins, offering continuous monitoring of vendor compliance status, and generating audit-ready records without increasing administrative workload.

Industry professionals have noted the system's potential. Rhonda Rouse of Sentara Health stated that the platform could solve long-standing vendor compliance challenges for healthcare organizations, potentially redefining vendor operations management through real-time insights and a simplified vendor experience.

Mickey Meehan, CEO of Green Security, emphasized that Smart Badge provides enhanced visibility and confidence in compliance for hospitals. He also highlighted that the system reduces check-in times for vendors, allowing them to focus more on supporting clinicians and patients.

The Smart Badge ecosystem will be commercially available starting August 1 for all new and renewing vendor registrations with Green Security.
