Greenberg Traurig Adds Gail Javitt to Health Care & FDA Practice

Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP has expanded its Health Care & FDA Practice with the addition of Gail H. Javitt as a shareholder in its Washington, D.C. office.

Javitt joins from Hyman, Phelps & McNamara, P.C., bringing more than three decades of experience in food and drug law. She has advised a range of clients, from emerging companies to industry leaders, on U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulatory, compliance, and transactional matters.

He noted her ability to support complex transactions and regulatory issues across various practice groups.

Javitt advises companies in the medical device, diagnostics, pharmaceutical, and biologics sectors on regulatory issues concerning product development and commercialization. She also has extensive experience in regulatory due diligence for corporate transactions. Previously, Javitt held academic appointments and has published on legal, ethical, and policy issues related to advancements in health care and life sciences.

The addition of Javitt is part of Greenberg Traurig's strategic growth in its Washington, D.C. office, which has seen new attorneys join in other practice areas recently.
