Greenberg Traurig, LLP, a global law firm, has appointed Sherry J. Sandler as a shareholder and co-chair of its Investment Management Group. This move is intended to bolster the firm's expertise in investment management, securities regulation, and corporate transactions.
Sandler brings nearly 25 years of experience in transactional, regulatory, and in-house legal roles. She previously co-chaired the Corporate/Business Group at Meltzer, Lippe, Goldstein & Breitstone, LLP, where she established and led its Investment Management and Funds practice. Her career also includes significant positions at Rodman & Renshaw, Knight Capital Americas/KCG Holdings, and the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
