Greenberg Traurig Named 2026 Law360 Florida Regional Powerhouse

Global law firm Greenberg Traurig has received its 10th consecutive recognition as a Law360 Florida Regional Powerhouse for 2026. The award acknowledges the firm's successful representation of clients in key transactions and matters that significantly impact the Florida region.

Founded in Miami in 1967, Greenberg Traurig now operates with more than 400 attorneys across six offices in Florida. The firm continues to be a major advisor on many of the state's most substantial litigation, real estate, corporate, and public finance matters.

In the past year, Greenberg Traurig's Florida Litigation Practice secured significant victories. This included representing nine affiliates of Swire Properties in a major construction defect lawsuit concerning Brickell City Centre, which resulted in one of the largest recoveries in a construction defect case in Florida history. The team also achieved a significant appellate win for Lyft before Florida's Third District Court of Appeal and represented the Florida State University Board of Trustees in litigation related to the Atlantic Coast Conference's Grant of Rights and exit provisions.

Furthermore, Greenberg Traurig attorneys played a crucial role in the development of Miami Freedom Park and the city's new Major League Soccer stadium, handling years of work related to land use, environmental, zoning, entitlements, and remediation. The firm's Real Estate Practice advised clients on notable transactions, including representing Kayne Anderson Real Estate and Remedy Medical Properties in their $7.2 billion acquisition of 296 outpatient medical properties from Welltower. The team also guided Swire Properties through the $512 million sale of a majority stake in the retail and parking components of Miami's Brickell City Centre.
