Fred E. Karlinsky, global chair of Greenberg Traurig's Insurance Regulatory & Transactions Practice, has been elected chair-elect of the Leadership Florida Board of Directors. The election took place at the organization's annual meeting in June.

The election occurred during the organization's annual meeting in Orlando in June. Leadership Florida is a non-profit entity focused on developing leaders within the state and fostering dialogue on critical issues affecting Florida.
Karlinsky has served as a member of the Leadership Florida Board of Directors since 2021. He possesses extensive experience in Florida state legislation and insurance industry regulations.
Karlinsky will assume the role of chair in July 2027. He will serve as chair-elect for the upcoming year. He succeeds current chair David L. Sodas, founder of Sodas Law Firm.
