GreenCore Solutions Releases gtinfetch.ai, GTIN Resolver for AI Agents

GreenCore Solutions Corp. (GSC) has launched gtinfetch.ai, a new product aimed at AI agents operating in the retail grocery sector. This system functions as a GTIN (Global Trade Item Number) resolver for artificial intelligence agents.

The service is capable of providing answers for 84 million barcodes within a single AI agent call, processing these requests in milliseconds. It is built to support agent-based commerce transactions at scale across 20 countries, operating on Microsoft Azure and the Cloudflare edge network.

With an estimated two trillion dollars in annual grocery procurement expected to transition to AI agent intermediation, the GTIN is a critical component for each order. GSC states that gtinfetch acts as a secondary check, confirming the GTIN before an order is placed and enabling payment within the same call using USDC and Open USD.

The role of AI agents in business-to-business transactions is projected to expand significantly. Gartner predicts that 90% of B2B buying could be intermediated by AI agents by 2028. gtinfetch aims to provide the product identity layer for these transactions, serving the retail grocery sector as well as AI labs and agent frameworks.
