Greentown Labs Opens Applications for Climate Tech Fellowship Program
Greentown Labs has launched the second annual First Valley Fellowship, offering $50,000 in non-dilutive funding to early-stage Massachusetts climate and energy founders.

Greentown Labs, a climate technology incubator based in Somerville, Massachusetts, has opened the application period for the second year of its First Valley Fellowship. The program aims to assist early-stage founders in transitioning from initial concept to prototype development.
Selected participants will receive $50,000 in non-dilutive capital alongside six months of professional mentorship and resource access. The fellowship is designed to address the funding gap often encountered by climate-tech entrepreneurs during the pre-seed stage.
As the energy transition creates demand for new hardware solutions, incubators like Greentown Labs are increasingly focusing on the prototyping phase of the development cycle. Applications for the cohort remain open to Massachusetts-based technology founders seeking to address climate challenges.
