Grim Dawn's large expansion Fangs of Asterkarn has been released

Crate Entertainment has launched Fangs of Asterkarn, the latest major expansion for its action role-playing game Grim Dawn. The expansion is now available on Steam and includes support for simplified Chinese interface and subtitles.

Fangs of Asterkarn introduces players to the new region of Asterkarn and a storyline centered around the Kuen tribal group within the game's fantasy world. This marks the largest content update to date for Grim Dawn. New gameplay mechanics feature a customizable potion system and an awakened item system for epic gear. A new high-difficulty Ascendant mode also offers a challenge for veteran players.

The expansion adds significant new areas to the game world, expanding its total volume by 32%. These areas include snowy mountain peaks, frozen caves, ancient forests, and hot springs. Players will interact with the Kuen, helping them confront their bloody past and unite against encroaching corruption. A tenth mastery, the Berserker, is also included, allowing players to transform into powerful beast forms.

The expansion is currently available on Steam for an introductory price of 65.7 yuan, down from its regular price of 73 yuan, with the discount ending on July 30. Playing Fangs of Asterkarn requires ownership of the base Grim Dawn game as well as the previous expansions Ashes of Malmouth and Forgotten Gods.
