John Taylor, CEO of both Grit Marketing and Mira Home, has amplified his companies' community engagement efforts in Utah County. Mira Home recently hosted a visit from Utah Foster Care's BOSS Bus program, which connects local businesses with foster youth to expose them to career paths.

During the BOSS Bus visit, teenagers toured Mira Home's facilities, shared lunch, and participated in recreational activities. Taylor concluded the event with a discussion emphasizing that one's starting point does not dictate their future potential, a philosophy mirrored in the companies' own employee training.

Additionally, Grit Marketing and Mira Home served as sponsors for the 4th annual "Under the Sea" prom hosted by Intermountain Primary Children's Hospital. This event is for teenage patients undergoing cancer treatment who are unable to attend their school dances.

The hospital transformed its conference rooms into a prom venue, complete with music, food, and salon services. Patients confined to their rooms received "prom in a box" deliveries. Taylor stated that both initiatives, the BOSS Bus visit and the prom sponsorship, reflect the same core belief in opportunity and potential, despite their different natures.
