Grünenthal acquires cancer treatment Stivarga®

Pharmaceutical company Grünenthal announced its acquisition of Stivarga® (regorafenib) from Bayer. This move is part of Grünenthal's strategy to acquire established medicines that address clear medical needs and leverage the company's commercial and operational capabilities for growth.

Stivarga® is an oral treatment for specific advanced cancers, including metastatic colorectal cancer and hepatocellular carcinoma. Bayer had previously developed and marketed the drug.
