Grohe AquaBooster reduces water consumption without sacrificing shower experience

GROHE AG has launched its new AquaBooster technology for its Vitalio Joy+ 120 showerhead, aiming to enhance the showering experience while reducing water consumption. The technology generates a more powerful water spray through an innovative method that concentrates pressure without significantly increasing water usage.

The new technology works by accelerating the water flow within the showerhead. It intelligently divides the water into two distinct chambers and uses specific nozzles to concentrate the pressure, creating a more invigorating and powerful spray referred to as the Booster mode.

With an integrated flow limiter, AquaBooster can significantly reduce annual water and energy costs. The company estimates potential savings of several hundred euros per year per household, depending on individual usage and local utility prices. This addresses a common concern that water conservation might detract from the shower experience.

The Vitalio Joy+ 120 showerhead offers three distinct spray modes: Booster, Rain, and Stimulating. Users can easily switch between modes using a dial conveniently located on the back of the showerhead. The product is available in various color and finish options to complement different bathroom aesthetics, providing both functional and design-oriented solutions for consumers.
