Grohe enters partnership with Saudi developer NHC

LIXIL subsidiary Grohe has finalized a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Saudi Arabia’s National Housing Company (NHC) to integrate its bathroom and kitchen solutions into large-scale residential developments. The agreement was formalized during the Cityscape Riyadh exhibition.

The collaboration aims to support Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 objectives, specifically focusing on the modernization of urban infrastructure and the expansion of the housing sector. Grohe intends to utilize its production facility in Dammam to supply components, such as concealed cisterns, to various NHC-led developments.

NHC, designated the largest real estate developer in the GCC region for 2024, works under the guidance of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing. By adopting Grohe’s product line, which includes water-saving technology, the developer seeks to align its projects with environmental efficiency standards.

Fawzi Dernaika, Leader for LIXIL IMEA, stated that the agreement reflects Grohe’s intent to play a significant role in the Kingdom's urbanization efforts. The move follows a broader regional trend among global construction suppliers to establish local manufacturing and supply chains to meet Saudi Arabia's growing housing demand.
