Bathroom and kitchen fixture manufacturer GROHE SPA has transformed the Piccolo Teatro Studio Melato in Milan into the Aqua Sanctuary installation for Milan Design Week. The event, which opened on April 17, 2026, showcases a redefined approach to the bathroom's role in promoting wellbeing.

The installation features three distinct zones exploring water's potential for creating calming and revitalizing spaces. The first area, Sanctum I, highlighted the 3D-printed GROHE SPA AquaTree shower system, designed to mimic organic natural forms and offer personalized showering experiences.

Sanctum II focused on achieving harmony and cohesive design within bathroom environments. It presented the GROHE SPA Atrio Private Collection in collaboration with Buster + Punch, merging metal and lighting solutions with water elements. This section also featured the Private Collection Vanity concept, integrating steam and aromatherapy functions for self-care.

The third sanctuary, Sanctum III, demonstrated three water rituals: preparation, relaxation, and rejuvenation. This part included elements from the GROHE SPA Allure Gravity collection, emphasizing the integration of design and self-care rituals beyond mere functionality.
