Grupo Beraldi adds 100 Scania Super trucks to fleet

Logistics and transport company Grupo Beraldi has added 100 new Scania Super trucks to its fleet over the past year, continuing a strategy to optimize operational performance and support its expansion. The acquisition strengthens the company's focus on efficiency and operational continuity across its diverse business activities.

The new Scania Super trucks will be deployed in several of Grupo Beraldi's core operations, including fuel supply, activities in the Vaca Muerta region, waste management, and logistics for the energy industry. With this addition, Scania vehicles now represent over 70 percent of Grupo Beraldi's total fleet of 650 units, signaling a move towards modernizing and standardizing its equipment.

Scania highlights that the Super range trucks are designed to improve efficiency through advanced technology, connectivity, and configurations tailored to specific applications. This versatility is crucial for Grupo Beraldi's operations, which range from long-distance haulage to challenging off-road conditions. The company also benefits from real-time vehicle performance data via the My Scania platform, aiding in decision-making and continuous improvement.

Furthermore, Grupo Beraldi has implemented Scania Customer Workshop Services (CWS) at three of its main bases. This service allows for maintenance to be conducted within the client's facilities by specialized Scania technicians, aiming to increase truck availability and reduce operational downtime. Scania views this as part of its commitment to providing integral solutions that combine vehicles, maintenance, connectivity, and fleet management to support the transport sector's development in Argentina.
