Brazilian iGaming company Grupo EGB has achieved a significant milestone for its industry, becoming the first operator from the sector to receive recognition in the Institute of Internal Auditors of Brazil’s (IIA Brazil) May campaign.
The group, behind brands Esportes da Sorte, Onabet, and Lottu, was awarded the IIA May Brazil 2026 Winning Company seal, along with a trophy and certificate during a ceremony on July 23.
The recognition followed EGB's participation in International Internal Audit Awareness Month, during which the company implemented a series of initiatives aimed at promoting internal audit practices and awareness within the organization.
This award highlights the company's commitment to high standards in internal governance and auditing, an area not always emphasized within the iGaming sector.
