GSK acquires rights to Syndivia's antibody-drug conjugate for prostate cancer
GSK plc has acquired exclusive global rights to develop and commercialize a preclinical antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) for prostate cancer from Syndivia. The deal strengthens GSK's prostate cancer pipeline.

GSK plc announced on October 27, 2025, an agreement granting it exclusive worldwide rights to develop and commercialize a preclinical antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) for the treatment of prostate cancer from Syndivia. This acquisition is a significant expansion of GSK's oncology strategy and its existing prostate cancer program.
Metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) remains a substantial health burden for men, with a critical need for novel targeted treatments. Approximately 1.4 million men worldwide are diagnosed with prostate cancer annually, and 10-20% develop advanced disease within five years.
The novel ADC utilizes Syndivia's GeminiMab conjugation technology. Preclinical studies have demonstrated enhanced anti-tumor activity and a promising safety profile. This type of targeted therapy has been a gap in available treatments and could offer a more accessible treatment option in community settings.
GSK states that the acquisition complements the company's prostate cancer pipeline, which already includes the B7H3-targeted ADC, GSK’227. The company is developing various ADC technologies, small molecules, and T-cell engagers for different forms of prostate cancer.
Under the terms of the agreement, Syndivia will receive an upfront payment and success-based development and commercial milestone payments up to a total of £268 million. Syndivia will also receive tiered royalties on future worldwide product sales. GSK will assume full responsibility for the development, manufacturing, and global commercialization of the ADC program.
