GSK plc to Acquire Biopharmaceutical Company RAPT Therapeutics
GSK plc has entered into an agreement to acquire RAPT Therapeutics, Inc., a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company. The acquisition focuses on RAPT's pipeline for treating food allergies.

London – GSK plc announced on January 20, 2026, that it has agreed to acquire RAPT Therapeutics, Inc., a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company. The transaction centers on RAPT's lead asset, ozureprubart, a long-acting anti-IgE monoclonal antibody developed for the treatment of food allergies.
Through this acquisition, GSK will gain access to RAPT Therapeutics' development pipeline, including ozureprubart, which is being investigated for conditions such as severe IgE-mediated allergies, including reactions to milk, eggs, and peanuts. This move aims to bolster GSK's immunology portfolio.
The deal also includes RAPT Therapeutics' other research programs targeting various immune-mediated diseases. The acquisition is expected to enhance GSK's presence in the allergy and immunology space.
Financial terms of the agreement have not been disclosed. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions. Regulatory filings related to the offer and sale are expected to be made with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
