London, UK – GSK plc released its robust 2025 financial results on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, reporting total sales of £32.7 billion, a 4% increase on an AER basis. The company also reaffirmed its long-term financial outlook, expecting sales to exceed £40 billion by 2031.
The growth in sales was primarily driven by Specialty Medicines, which saw a 17% increase to £13.5 billion. Notably, Oncology products (up 43%) and the Immune and Respiratory division (up 18%) showed significant advancement. Vaccine sales grew 2% to £9.2 billion, including an 8% rise for Shingrix.
The company's core operating profit increased by 11% and core EPS by 12%, attributed to the strong performance in Specialty Medicines and Vaccines, alongside operational efficiencies. Total operating profit for 2025 saw a more than 100% increase, largely due to significantly lower legal expenses and other charges compared to previous periods.
GSK forecasts 2026 turnover growth to be between 3% to 5% and core operating profit growth between 7% to 9% on a CER basis. The company plans continued significant investment in research and development, which will be reflected in R&D expenditure growth expected to outpace sales growth. Ten pivotal trials are anticipated to commence by the end of 2026.
