GSK to Present Data on Cancer Pipeline at ESMO Congress

GSK plc (LSE/NYSE: GSK) announced it will present a significant amount of data from its oncology pipeline at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress in Madrid, taking place from October 23-27.

The company is set to showcase more than 20 abstracts detailing advancements across its growing portfolio of solid tumor treatments. The data will focus on progress in lung, gynecological, and gastrointestinal cancers, featuring investigational compounds such as risvutatug rezetecan (Ris-Rez) and mocertatug rezetecan (Mo-Rez), alongside Jemperli (dostarlimab).

Key presentations include initial global Phase I/II data for Ris-Rez in extensive-stage small-cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC), demonstrating positive anti-tumor activity. Further data will highlight Mo-Rez's potential in platinum-resistant ovarian cancer (PROC), showing clinically meaningful and durable responses. Additionally, results from the AZUR-1 trial will present sustained complete responses with Jemperli in locally advanced MSI-H/dMMR rectal cancer.

Hesham Abdullah, Senior Vice President, Global Head Oncology, R&D at GSK, stated that the data reflects the company's progress in tackling some of the most challenging cancers. GSK aims to develop differentiated medicines designed to deliver deep and durable responses, overcome resistance, and reduce treatment burden.

The congress will also feature data on Ris-Rez for osteosarcoma and further studies on Jemperli for other cancer types. These presentations underscore GSK's continued commitment to advancing oncology research and providing new therapeutic options for patients with limited treatment alternatives.
