GSMA MWC26 to be held in Doha in November 2026

GSMA has announced that the Mobile World Congress (MWC) Doha will be held in November 2026. The event will run concurrently with the International Telecommunication Union's (ITU) Plenipotentiary Conference, creating a global platform to bring together industry leaders and policymakers.

Building on the first edition in 2025, MWC Doha aims to expand the global reach of the MWC brand. The inaugural MWC Doha was held in 2025, and it is expected to grow in significance in the coming years.

The primary goal of the event is to provide a forum for technology industry leaders to discuss sector advancements and regulations with international decision-makers. The concurrent ITU Plenipotentiary Conference will gather government representatives to deliberate on the future of telecommunications.

GSMA is a global organization that represents the interests of mobile network operators and organizes major industry events like MWC Barcelona. Doha was selected as the host city to offer new opportunities within the Middle Eastern and Asian markets.
