Developer mojso has announced that Grand Theft Auto V (GTA 5) is being ported to the Android platform, with the official release planned for next month. This marks a significant move for the popular open-world title on mobile devices.

The minimum system requirements for the Android version include a Snapdragon 865 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and 65GB of storage. The operating system must be Android 13 or newer. While lower-spec devices might launch the game, smooth gameplay is not guaranteed. These requirements are considered relatively low for a game of GTA 5's scope.

The port will support Xclipse GPUs on Samsung's Exynos chips and will include Mali GPU support in the future. However, Google Tensor chips utilizing PowerVR GPUs will not be supported. The game is reportedly based on leaked code from 2023, which may lead to potential copyright issues and challenges in finding legitimate download sources upon release.
