Guanacaste Airport Upgrades Operations with AirportLabs Digital Suite
Guanacaste Airport has implemented a suite of AirportLabs digital tools to enhance operational efficiency, improve stakeholder collaboration, and support future growth.

Liberia, Costa Rica – Guanacaste Airport (Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport), part of the VINCI Airports network, has completed the deployment of a comprehensive digital solutions suite from AirportLabs. The initiative aims to increase operational efficiency, foster better collaboration among airport stakeholders, and prepare for future expansion.
The implementation includes four core platforms: SkyCore AODB for flight schedule management, Allegra RMS for resource planning, VisionAir FIDS for flight information displays, and the Airport Community App for operational teams. These integrated systems are designed to create a connected digital ecosystem that streamlines airport operations, improves decision-making, and enhances the passenger experience.
According to Lizeth Valverde, COO of Guanacaste Airport, the AirportLabs platform has streamlined workflows, reduced manual effort, and improved team coordination. The real-time insights provided by the system support faster, more informed decisions. The airport serves 2 million passengers annually and is a key tourism gateway.
AirportLabs reports that SkyCore AODB automates flight schedule management, Allegra RMS optimizes resource allocation using machine learning, VisionAir FIDS provides real-time flight data to passengers, and the Airport Community App centralizes communication for ground staff. Together, these tools are intended to position the airport for continued growth and operational excellence.
