Guardian Alliance Technologies Reports Growth Amid Demand for Faster Public Safety Hiring
Guardian Alliance Technologies added 149 agencies through August 2026, reflecting increased demand for streamlined background investigations in public safety recruitment.

Guardian Alliance Technologies, a provider of background investigation management software, announced significant expansion of its nationwide network during the first eight months of 2026. Between January and the end of August, the company onboarded 149 new agencies, growing its network of active public safety organizations from 1,239 to 1,388.
The growth is attributed to rising demand for quicker and more accurate background checks within law enforcement and public safety sectors. Traditional hiring processes, often paper-based, are time-consuming. Guardian's platform facilitates electronic background investigations, aiming to reduce administrative burdens and expedite the process for qualified candidates.
The company reported its network now includes 72 private investigation firms that provide background check services to public safety agencies. The platform supports approximately 14,600 agency users and over 360,000 applicant records. The Philadelphia Police Department, for example, has reported reducing its hiring timeline from about a year to 56 days after implementing Guardian's system.
Guardian anticipates continued adoption as public safety organizations seek to improve recruitment efficiency and candidate processing while maintaining rigorous standards. The company's technology includes digital pre-screening, which helps agencies identify potentially disqualifying information earlier, optimizing resource allocation and focusing on qualified applicants.
