Guardian Fire Protection Services rebrands as Veriguard Fire & Security

Guardian Fire Protection Services has officially transitioned its corporate identity to Veriguard Fire & Security. The move establishes a centralized platform for the company’s 25 branches, which serve over 100,000 customers across 12 U.S. states. Despite the change, the company confirmed that existing local operating brands will retain their names and local personnel to ensure continuity for clients.

Founded nearly 50 years ago in Rockville, Maryland, the firm has expanded its footprint through various acquisitions. The new structure is intended to streamline coordination for clients operating across multiple regions, particularly in sectors such as retail, hospitality, property management, and industrial warehousing. The company maintains that over 98% of its service work is self-performed, a practice it cites as critical to maintaining oversight of safety standards and documentation.

CEO Scott Agge stated that the rebranding reflects the company's significant growth and its effort to provide a more consistent standard of service. While the corporate name is changing, the company emphasizes that its fundamental product offerings and service delivery models remain unchanged.
