Gudea Raises $7 Million to Predict Viral Online Narratives
Startup Gudea has raised $7 million in seed funding to help companies anticipate which online narratives will go viral and understand who is driving them.

Gudea, a technology startup focused on predicting the spread of online narratives, has secured $7 million in seed funding. The investment aims to enhance the company's technology, which assists businesses in anticipating which online conversations and stories are likely to gain widespread traction and identifying their key drivers.
The funding round was co-led by Mudita Venture Partners and Silicon Road Ventures. This brings the startup's total funding to approximately $15 million since its inception in 2023. Gudea reported a year-over-year revenue growth of 357%, with clients spanning major AI companies and businesses in telecommunications, entertainment, and retail sectors.
Gudea's approach distinguishes itself from traditional social listening tools. Rather than solely tracking mentions and hashtags, the company maps how information flows across individuals, groups, and platforms. This model is then used to predict the velocity of narrative spread, peak impact, and eventual decline.
The company's technology employs deep learning, including graph neural networks, for analyzing behavioral patterns, with large language models used for summarizing findings. Gudea offers its software to clients through features such as alerts, platform access, and automated reports. The startup plans to utilize the new capital to expand its team, develop new functionalities, and increase its coverage across platforms, languages, and regions.
