Guerbet Ranks Higher in Gaïa CSR Index
Medical imaging specialist Guerbet has improved its standing in the 2019 Gaïa Index, a benchmark for corporate social responsibility among French mid-cap companies. The company rose 20 places overall.

Villepinte, France – Guerbet, a global specialist in contrast agents and solutions for medical imaging, has improved its position in the 2019 Gaïa Index, which ranks French mid-cap companies based on their corporate social responsibility (CSR) performance. The company secured 14th place out of 230 companies this year, a jump of 20 positions from last year.
Within the category for companies generating over 500 million euros in revenue, Guerbet placed 12th, moving up 13 spots. These improved rankings reflect the maturity of Guerbet's environmental, social, and governance (ESG) policy and the efforts undertaken in these areas, according to the company.
The Gaïa Index is a key SRI benchmark for listed French mid-caps, assessed by ESG rating agency EthiFinance. The evaluation considers 163 criteria across economic, governance, human capital, environmental, and stakeholder aspects.
Guerbet highlighted its commitment to a proactive CSR policy, structured around four pillars: improving patient outcomes through its products, responsible social policies, HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) initiatives, and business ethics. The company noted significant progress in governance, stakeholder relations, labor policies, and environmental management.
