Guerbet to present interventional imaging solutions at CIRSE 2018
Guerbet, a specialist in contrast agents and medical imaging solutions, will present its latest offerings for interventional imaging, including the Vectorio system, at the CIRSE congress in Lisbon.
Guerbet, the global specialist in contrast agents and solutions for diagnostic and interventional medical imaging, has announced its participation in the 2018 annual congress of the Cardiovascular & Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE), taking place September 22-25, 2018, in Lisbon, Portugal.
The company will showcase its interventional imaging solutions, which are currently driving its growth, at an exhibition booth and in its dedicated Innovation Lab. The event program includes two symposia focusing on vascular anomaly embolization and conventional transarterial chemoembolization (cTACE) procedures, scheduled for Sunday, September 23, and Monday, September 24.
Guerbet will also present its portfolio of new solutions alongside its flagship product, Lipiodol® Ultra Fluid. These will be available for interventional radiologists to discover and test within the Guerbet Innovation Lab.
Among the new solutions is Vectorio, an innovative mixing and injection system designed to standardize cTACE procedures. This kit of medical devices, CE marked in August 2017, is resistant to Lipiodol® Ultra Fluid and is used for mixing and administering the contrast agent with an anti-cancer drug for adult patients with intermediate-stage hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).
The CIRSE congress is a prominent annual event for interventional radiology professionals, providing a platform for knowledge sharing and showcasing the latest research findings in the field.
