Gulfstone Produces 600 RV Water Heaters Without Dimensional Rejects

Foshan Gulfstone has reported zero dimensional rejects from a recent 600-unit production run of its tankless gas water heaters for a North American camper original equipment manufacturer (OEM). The production program focused on configuring the heaters to match the customer's existing installation cut-outs, mounting points, and electrical arrangements, allowing seamless integration without requiring changes to the customer's production line.

According to Gulfstone's production records, dimensional and cut-out inspections were performed against the OEM's released drawings using ISO 2859 sampling procedures at an acceptance quality limit (AQL) of 2.5. No lots were rejected for dimensional non-conformance. The company stated that this outcome addressed fitment issues previously encountered with other suppliers, which had led to end-of-line failures and production-line adjustments.

The manufacturing process employed Gulfstone's four-gate quality control system. This system includes checks on incoming materials, sub-assembly and dimensional checks, combustion and gas safety testing on 100% of units, and final export packaging and drop testing.

Gulfstone offers its RV tankless gas water heater platform in various configurations. The units are designed for direct fit or replacement applications, matching existing recess cut-outs and electrical setups. The company reports a production capacity capable of inspecting 800 units per shift and allows for third-party inspections.
